My name is Jonathan Lucas, I’m a composer and pianist based in the beautiful city of Salzburg, Austria. Over the past ten years, I’ve written many compositions — each one tells a unique story. Some have led me to unexpected places and encounters; all are born out of a deep love for music, people, and connection.

My compositions reflect moments of joy, grief, love, and the quiet beauty of being alive. What they all share is a desire to create spaces of encounter — spaces where music becomes a bridge between people, across borders and experiences.

Each release is part of a larger artistic journey — often connected to multimedia projects, rooted in themes like human dignity, hope, and shared humanity. In the coming months, my first album, recorded at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, will be released. The first live concerts are already being planned.

In addition to composing and performing, I also work as a piano teacher and offer lessons in piano, composition, and improvisation — combining classical technique with elements of jazz, pop, and film music.
